Technology Strategies Middle East (TSME) was named the official Implementation Partner and collaborator of the Fintech Hackathon that ran for 3 days and was organized by the Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC) through its JOIN Fincubator.
This is the first-ever university fintech rally. It aimed to foster the next generation of fintech leaders in Jordan.
75 students from 10 universities formed 18 teams to present new ideas and develop solutions to enhance JoPACC’s CliQ/JoMoPay system.
Event Highlights
The Fintech Rally Hackathon: University Edition 2024 held in Amman, Jordan was a major success, showcasing impressive innovation and setting a high bar for the fintech industry. TSME is very proud to have been a part of this experience alongside JOIN Fincubator and crown 6 teams as the champions of the competition and recognize their efforts, leadership, and amazing future ahead in the industry.
In an interview with Roya TV, Managing Director of TSME Mr. Firas Saifan explained the idea behind the Hackathon was to foster university students in the fintech industry and “turn ideas into innovations in real life.” He continued that TSME “experts guided students by giving them proper design documents” and proper guidance throughout the rally.
