Dubai, October 18, 2023 – Technology powerhouses Technology Strategies Middle East (TSME) and global technology company Software AG (Frankfurt MDAX: SOW) are pleased to announce the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Bank of Jordan to implement webMethods API Gateway from Software AG. The agreement was signed during a ceremony held on the 17th of October at GITEX Global 2023, the largest tech show in the world.
Mr. Khalid Awad, Bank of Jordan’s Chief Information Officer, signed the agreement with the Chairman and CEO of TSME Mr. Abdulla Al Otaiba, and Software AG’s Senior Vice President for Middle East & Türkiye, Mr. Rami Kichli. The ceremony also graced presence from Software AG’s Country Manager (Jordan) Mr. Yaser Nasif, TSME’s Managing Director Mr. Firas Saifan, TSME’s Sales & Business Development Director Mr. Mohammed Abu Shmais, and TSME’s Regional Sales Manager Mr. Firas Kanaan.
Through the strategic partnership, Bank of Jordan will implement a foolproof solution to fortify its middleware platform to effectively send client requests to the proper back-end services for routing and transmission. TSME will lead the implementation of a scheme that seeks significant improvement in the bank’s agility and effectiveness as it minimizes risks and offers multiple capabilities including rate limit, monetization, and load balancing.
